Hello everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who is reading my story. If you've made it through 300+ pages of the story so far, you've spent a fair amount of your time reading about these characters of mine, and I want you to know that I appreciate it! I really hope you all stay with me as we go into Day 4 and the second half of the story. Today, though, I have a few things I wanted to talk about.

First and foremost, I wanted to announce that my wife and I are expecting our first child. If all goes as planned, in February of this coming year, our baby daughter will be born, and we will begin yet another new phase of our lives. We are both very excited and eager for that day to come.

While I will have many new responsibilities as a new father, I still plan on continuing work on my comics, albeit likely at a slower pace. I don't think my current 10 pages a week (5 here, and 5 over on Felora) will be sustainable at that point. I'm not entirely sure what my comic schedule will end up being, but I wanted to give you a heads up that it will be changing in a few short months.

Next up, some info on Twilight Trust. I was tempted to start this by saying that TT would now be going on a 7 year hiatus. Don't fret, though! While partially true, Day 4 will be starting in a short week or two. A more accurate way to say it is TT has BEEN on a 7 year hiatus that is almost over. Still confused? Up until this point, I had written and drawn these pages of Twilight Trust 7-8 years ago. I've just now, however, been coloring them and posting them online for you to enjoy! For those handful of real life friends who read TT back in the day...I apologize! They've had to wait 7 long years to find out the rest of the story! The good news is that posting the comic online has reinvigorated my artistic urges, and I have drawn over 100 pages for Day 4 – pages that you will begin seeing all too soon! The bad news (hopefully not TOO bad), is that I've spent that 7 years drawing almost nothing. You may notice a change in the art and writing, as I'm rather rusty on both fronts. Please bear with me!

I have built up quite a bit of bonus art and fan art to show off over the next week or two, giving me some extra time to draw up some new chapter covers, draw and ink some more pages, etc. Then, Day 4 will begin! Now that I'm entering my buffer of new pages, I am not sure how long I'll be able to keep up with 5 pages a week. Day 4 Part 1 will continue at 5 pages per week, but then I will switch to 3 pages per week (I'm thinking Mon-Wed-Fri). I hope to be able to maintain 3 pages per week through the rest of the story.

Speaking of the rest of the story, I do want to give a gentle warning. The second half of TT goes to some darker places than the first half. There are traumatic events, and not everyone will survive. There will still be plenty of humor to see us through, though, and there WILL be room for a sequel to this story. This will NOT be one of those stories where everybody dies. And in the world of Twilight Trust, sometimes death is only the beginning of the story. I hope you'll stick with me till end.

Yours truly,
Matt K.

Wow! Congratulation. Being a father is one of the best parts of my life, but a lot of work is in store and I can appreciate the fact that you may have to slow down the story.

I'm just glad to know that we'll have more TT to read in the future :D

Thanks, Stever! I'm looking forward to it. :)
I will definitely see this story through to the end.
I like mixing humor with dark. You've got a good balance of the two. I tend to not enjoy gag-a-day comics because they are trying too hard to be funny but when you've got serious moments mixed in the humor, it makes the humor stand out all the more. So keep going into those dark places.

Thanks, bejinks! Glad to have you on board. :)
I really look forward to an even darker TT. To me, your story has always had the dark undertones and recently, it was very apparent. I love every page, and if it takes you another 7 years to finish, we will still be here to support you. We love your work!

Thanks, Proxy!
The support of all you guys here has completely reinvigorated me. I'm so glad I can share my stories with you!
Congratulations to you and your wife! Just like Stever said, being a dad is awesome. From experience I can tell you in spite of the work and time juggling to come, it's not all that bad. You'll still have time for your art. Not like before but, it'll be more than enough, you'll see.
The gains of becoming a dad, make all the adjustments way worth it!!!
