You gotta help that poor girl snap out of it, Douglas! I wonder if this is who you've gone to save all along? D:
Matt Knab
She certainly does look familiar, eh? Our boy may not be able to use his normal problem solving methods in this case.
I just realised.. she grew up too. So this growing up and becoming strong was Nolan's work, not Douglas' special ability :o
Matt Knab
You've got it! Douglas' strength and abrupt maturation were due to whatever was done to the children there.
Hehe, nice wake up call for Douglas ;D

An alarm clock never works. ;)
Realization hits like a punch to the face. In this case, it was quite literal.

Haha, yes, the metaphore is both apt and literally accurate in this case.
Uhhh... man. That smarted in more ways than once.

Oh did I catch up already? Dangnamit! :P

Awesome work Matt! :) Looking forward to more as they come!
Matt Knab
Haha, yup!
Glad you are enjoying the story! Thanks for reading! :D
Leah WAS the little girl in the purple dress. SHE was the weapon. They kept saying that Douglas was a failure...but....was he?
